English Language Learning Program

Apple Tree Preschool/Learning Centre Ltd. and the I’m For Kids Team have partnered to provide you with a professionally developed English Language Learning Program which will enhance your child’s preschool and community experience while learning English.

A team of experts which will include Speech, Language Specialists as well as Accredited Preschool Teachers will excite your child while learning English without losing or forgetting the importance of his/her first language.

All teachers and specialists bring with them experience, education and unparalleled love of teaching preschool aged children. We are continually being kept abreast of new developments and we will pass this on to both your child and you.

We believe that children learn best when they are respected, secure and having fun. “Learning is Fun”.

In order to achieve this, we offer a well-balanced academic/play program which is professionally developed specifically to meet the needs of preschool children 3-5 years of age. In learn, play and discovery environments children are offered structured, unstructured and routine activities.

Each child is unique; therefore we (parents, specialists, teachers and children) will work together in a variety of ways, pooling our knowledge and information to attain optimal growth and development for your child. Parent participation is mandatory during class time. One additional sibling over 3 years old may attend for a nominal additional fee.

Small parented classes offer individualized immediate attention for your child.

LEVEL I -- This will include basic English nouns, verbs and words used at home and during preschool routines. Little or no comprehension or English speech is required.

LEVEL II -- This will include Level I as well as a little more advanced speech and comprehension, especially coinciding with preschool themes and activities. Some comprehension and beginnings of verbal English required.
